VeriGeo: Controllable Geometry Question Generation with Numerical and Analytical Verification
VeriGeo is a new framework for controllable geometry question generation that integrates executable reasoning traces to ensure consistency across problem statements, diagrams, and solutions. It employs a three-stage verification pipeline that assesses numerical consistency, analytical realizability, and global consistency, enabling the repair of many invalid problem attempts. The framework has been fine-tuned on 8.7k examples, achieving superior performance on GeoQA and other benchmarks, indicating its potential to enhance multimodal geometry reasoning in AI-assisted education.
