Implicit Semantic-Aware Communication Based on Hypergraph Reasoning

The paper introduces a novel hypergraph-based implicit semantic reasoning framework (HISR) that enhances semantic-aware communication by representing complex multi-entity relationships, addressing limitations of traditional graph-based methods that focus on pairwise relationships. HISR maps entities and their higher-order relations into specialized semantic subspaces, improving semantic expressiveness and robustness against information loss during transmission. Numerical results indicate a significant performance improvement, with a 36.6% increase in implicit semantic interpretation accuracy over existing benchmarks, making it a valuable advancement for practitioners in communication systems focusing on semantic understanding.
