From Sentiment to Actionable Insights: A Data-Driven Public Sentiment Analysis of Advanced Air Mobility

The study published in arXiv analyzes public sentiment toward Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) by evaluating 306,009 texts from Reddit and Quora using various sentiment analysis models. Among seven tested models, ModernBERT achieved the highest classification accuracy, enabling the identification of 20 topics related to public opinion, with significant concerns around workforce development, regulation, and safety. This research underscores the importance of understanding public sentiment to inform AAM deployment strategies and enhance societal acceptance, which is crucial for the technology's commercial viability.
