EvTexture++: Event-Driven Texture Enhancement for Video Super-Resolution

EvTexture++ is a novel event-driven framework designed for texture enhancement in video super-resolution (VSR), focusing on leveraging high-frequency spatiotemporal details from event signals. It introduces a customized texture enhancement branch and an iterative texture enhancement module that improves texture recovery and inter-frame temporal consistency, achieving state-of-the-art performance with up to 1.55 dB PSNR improvements on the Vid4 dataset. This framework serves as a plug-and-play tool, enhancing existing VSR models by refining texture regions and mitigating flickering in dynamic scenes, making it a valuable asset for practitioners in the field.
