Voice Privacy from an Attribute-based Perspective

The paper presents a novel approach to voice privacy by introducing an attribute-based perspective, moving beyond traditional signal-to-signal comparisons to evaluate privacy protection through sets of speaker attributes. It analyzes speaker uniqueness and attack error rates in scenarios with limited utterances, revealing that even with anonymization, inferred attributes can still pose a risk.
