Agentic Time Machine as an Infrastructure for Future-Event Forecasting
The article introduces the Agentic Time Machine (TM), an innovative infrastructure designed for future-event forecasting by reconstructing past web states to enhance evaluation fidelity. It employs a planner-solver-aggregator multi-agent framework that processes questions from multiple analytical perspectives, achieving strong correlations between offline scores and live benchmarks, particularly outperforming existing baselines on FutureX-Past and Polymarket. This development is significant for AI practitioners as it provides a rapid and realistic evaluation environment for forecasting agents, facilitating improved model performance assessment in dynamic contexts.
