Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Libraries: A Systematic Review
A systematic literature review has been conducted to synthesize empirical studies on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in libraries, analyzing 32 selected articles from major databases. The findings indicate that current research primarily emphasizes theoretical frameworks, with some focus on implementation projects and case studies. This review serves as a resource for researchers and practitioners in the library and information science (LIS) domain, highlighting the potential for technology-oriented approaches and future innovations in library services.
