OdysSim: Building Foundation Models for Human Behavior Simulation
OdysSim introduces a novel approach to behavioral foundation models aimed at simulating human behavior, featuring the 8B OSim model which ranks first or tied-first on 8 out of 23 benchmark tasks, particularly excelling in conversational and social simulations. The framework includes a comprehensive taxonomy called SOUL, encompassing 62 datasets and 23 tasks, alongside a curated corpus of 21.4M interactions and 10B tokens. This work highlights the need to rethink LLM training paradigms, particularly in addressing the behavioral Sim2Real gap, and provides all artifacts for further research in the field.
